Types of Membership

Individuals interested in becoming members of IAIM can join as either Immunization Manager Members or Associate Members. The eligibility criteria, benefits offered, and cost of each are detailed below.

Immunization Manager Membership

Who is eligible?

Immunization Manager Membership is open to current and former immunization managers. Immunization managers are defined by IAIM as individuals who are responsible for managing the operation of all components of the immunization program (at either the national or sub-national level). This also includes managers who are responsible for any major component of the immunization program at the national level. An immunization manager is not defined by job title, as immunization managers have many different job titles; rather, they are defined by their role in managing the operations of an immunization program.

Most immunization managers are employed by the Ministry of Health or one of its sub-national units; however, there are some immunization managers employed outside of the public health sector.
